Process/Media

Through experimentation I have developed a unique process which is a hybrid of 3-D botanical objects captured directly with a flatbed scanner and sophisticated scanning software. The captured images are painted with the use of a powerful computer and carefully printed on archival fine art paper or canvas using Epson UltraChrome archival inks. I personally inspect each print before I sign them.

The result is a work with saturated color, vivid detail and a luminous surreal feel that can be printed quite large:
Limited Edition Range
12” x 18” - 55” x 82” / Edition sizes from 25 - 150

Hand Painted Single Master Prints

I also create a single hand painted print of each of the edition sizes. I meticulously overpaint the print with mica with a technique I innovated that retains the mica’s translucency, while adding a luminescence to the print. Each of these prints is a one of a kind.

Special Orders & Commissions

Special orders and commissions are welcome. I am able to create custom images to fill large spaces and/or specific color combinations needs.

Archival Quality

Print quality and permanence is of utmost importance to me. The inks and papers used are selected to hold both vibrancy and color, with canvas images also treated with a protective coating of non-yellowing UV water resistant lacquer.
